Girl About Town

I had a wonderful brunch date with some girlfriends downtown. Of course we ended up shopping... just a little. Loving all the spring pieces being released in stores. It's taking me a lot of will power not to swipe that little friend of mine, mr. credit card (as January is a slow month for all and yes I'm quite broke). I did end up picking up a few things. Am quite proud of myself!

Ah, these are my darlings ♥. The suede is soft and they're super comfy. Jeffrey Campbell, props to you for designing fierce heels that girls can actually walk in. Can't wait to wear these in the spring but you know I couldn't resist wearing them out now in this winter weather. Sometimes a girl's got to do, what a girl's got to do.



My friend's and I fooling around in Urban Outfitters. I loved the hat but sadly, didn't end up getting it. Don't you love Kate's Tiffany blue Jeffrey Campbell Litas? I must get the black and then every other color it comes in. Little obsession with Litas here.



Who loves fur? I love my fur stole from H&MM. Faux fur please! Real fur, no thanks. I like my furry animal friends.



This bag may look small but it fits all my daily essential things. $10, say what?! Gotta love all the non-branded, cheap but super cute Asian goods. I'd go bankrupt if I went to Korea.

Chanel Spring 2012 Collection: Lady Underwater

I'm so in love with Chanel's spring collection for 2012! It's my fair lady meets aquatic wonderland. A whole underwater theme in white. Shimmery pearls, dresses made to look like foam, ruffly waves, pleats that remind me of the ocean, and splashes of color in turquoise, periwinkle blue, and blush pink. These are some of my favourite looks from the collection. I'm really drawn to all the white and pink: it's fresh, feminine, delicate, and perfect for spring!



Have you seen the divine seashell clutches? I'd like the one decked out in pearls please.


The collection displays a youthful, naive, innocent kind of prettiness (think Little Mermaid) combined with the classic, feminine, ladylike style that Chanel is known for.



I feel like I need to be strolling along the beach, collecting seashells and other bobbles while singing Disney's Under the Sea . This collection gets me excited for warm weather. Winter needs to go away now.

I admit, I'm a bit of a procrastinator. Blogging has always been on my 'to-do-list' but I've never actually gotten around to start one. With the start of a new year and new beginnings, I've finally convinced myself to plunge myself into the blog world.
